Flushing Meadows–Corona Park

The city's second-biggest park characterized by its most enduring icon, the Unisphere, a mammoth steel globe created for the 1964 World's Fair. The extensive verdure fields also encompass a zoo, a boating lake, a skate park, Arthur Ashe Stadium and Citi Field, along with a $66 million aquatic and hockey center. Although the gardens aren't manicured and the water from the elegant display fountains have long turned brown, it remains a beautiful area to visit.
