Times Square
Times Square
Manhattan's heart was formerly a hub for vibe, brewing with sex shops and drug dealers. Over time that notorious reputation eroded and it felt like a tourist-clogged mall, but everything has become dangerously quiet and a sense of kenopsia-- the eerie, forlorn atmosphere of a place that's usually bustling with people but is now abandoned and quiet. This is where thousands of people used to gather when the clock strikes midnight on New Years Eve to watch the annual glitzy midnight countdown celebration. A majority of the lights have long burned out, but some resume to lightly glow during the night hours.

Re: Times Square
Cassandra Cage, a well known lone bandit, had just made a successful heist & kill in Battery Park, Mahattan, and retreated to Times Square. As she made it to the abandoned city, or as she nicknamed it 'ghost town' few infected humans roamed, as most were takin' down by Mercanies, a specialized private military group. She snook past them, and made it to a safe alleyway, taking the ammunition out and unstrapping the rifle from her back, loading the ammunition into it. "Perfect.." she grinned, strapping the rifle back onto her back. Cassandra started to climb up ladder that lead to the top of a small building. She kneeled down, taking her sniper out and setting it up slowly. Cassie layed flat on her stomach, closing one of her eyes to look into the scope on the top of her rifle, getting close looks at the infected humans.

Re: Times Square
The impenetrable spires of Times Square metropolitan architecture stretched like rigid skeletons into the crystalline atmosphere, where cottony banners drifted overhead within the cerulean expanse and the afternoon sun blazed idly. A wispy autumnal breeze circulated low within the inhospitable asphalt networks quelled excessive heat and maintained a comfortable temperature, the lack of moisture reducing any sensations of clamminess. A compact group of individuals meandered the barren vacancy of the urbane municipal, three males and two females; but, the intimidating stature of a stately, athletic man brandishing a bloodied tire iron predominated.
His reputation within the five Boroughs of New York City made it almost effortless to instantaneously pinpoint his identification: Grayson Spencer, Lead Mercenary. Veneers of irate contours characterized his suave, rather attractive visage ornamented with his trademark onyx RayBan sunglasses increased his magnetic conundrum; he was a shadowed enigma. They snooped around the cosmopolitan district and ravaged the abandoned stores for valuable, necessary apparatus during their daily patrol of the outermost parcel of the Mercenary territory; their lenience to trespassers are high midst this area, but nothing was promised when Grayson fronted.

Re: Times Square
Cassandra held her breath, focusing and zooming in on an infected human. She pulled the trigger, but missed, making the walkers more alarmed. "Damn it.." she whispered, sitting back up and putting her rifle away. Cassandra walked towards another building, skillfully jumping onto it. Cassandra paused, her gaze fixated on a human, not infected, probably a Mercenary.. she thought, having a mutual hatred towards them.

Amber Zedyna cursed under her breath as an infectious creature stumbled her way, the creature's misshapen body was maggot infested, it's empty rib cage squirming with worms. The tremendous stench made Amber gag, she quickly whipped out one of her silver double pistols out of its holster. She ran off multiple shots, the silencer system on the guns were a life saver. She quickly mounted her motorbike, making sure it was on it's quietest setting, she zoomed over to where Grayson was standing. "I think I found something." She told him.

Re: Times Square
Cassandra Cage stared for a few more seconds before continuing on along the rooftops, trying to safely get to her destination without any trouble. However, Cassie came to a stop, looking at an irresistible sight, an open 7/11. Cassandra walked towards the side of the two-story building she stood on, jumping over the short metal bars and onto a closed garbage disposal. She smirked, however, cannibalistic humans blocked her path from the gas station. Without hesitating, she strutted out of the alleyway she was in, whistling to get their attention. They came running at her, she unstrapped her rifle quickly, not taking the time to aim for a perfect shot. After one was down, she started to run towards the 7/11, Diving in and shutting the door securely on the zombie-like beings. Cassandra panted, relieved the door can hold them off for a little bit.

Re: Times Square
The ill-famed Mercenary ensnared his Machiavellian scrutiny on the approach of the subordinate recruit and gritted his aligned incisors in irate vexation, the prominent muscle facilitating his jaw visibly twitching. The reverberating rumble pouring from the engine of the Korean girl's motorcycle leeched unwanted attention from lurking Infected; several rigid silhouettes materializing from alleyways and business facades neighboring the intersection, where the private military group pacified their collective gait.
"Mind turnin' that off?"
He iterated, his domineering intonation implying demand rather than request. Although suave tenebrous RayBan sunglasses obscured his venomous glare, his furrowed eyebrows distinguished kindled annoyance. The three individuals swarming his posterior effortlessly dispatched the plagued victims with their well-conditioned assault rifles, silencer mechanisms equipped on their barrels prevented attracting more undesired spotlight.Grayson badgered impatiently, his memorable Australian dialect sonorous and rough,
"What did you find?"
Re: Times Square
Amber nodded, walking over to the mechanically powered bike, she twisted the keys out of the engine with ease, she then set them back in her pocket. Walking over to Grayson, she responded to his earlier question, "I think it's some sort of shelter... Military for sure." She walked back over to the alley. "This is it." She told him.

Re: Times Square
Cassandra Cage lifted her head up to see a shocked manager, putting his hands up. "I y-yield!" he said, frightened. "But I'm just getting started.." Cassandra smirked, strutting towards him and knocking him down with an uppercut. She proceeded to torture the man until she was satisfied, meaning he was dead. She smiled, wiping off her knuckles on a nearby chip bag, continuing the heist on the store. Some of the items stolen were beer, beef jerky, and cigarettes. Cassandra looked back down at the dead manager, living up to her title as a Bandit.

Re: Times Square
Unadulterated angst unmistakably ebbed from his dominant vibe; disdainful tension contoured his lofty, athletic physicality and his muscular shoulders were stiffened, yet it was projected despotically. Grayson twisted his lissome torso and refocused his attention onto the opposite female and her older brother, Tamson and Kaden. He addressed them indirectly,
"Check out what that's about."
-- "Now! Go."
He barked when they expressed auras of reluctance, but quickly skittered away when his voice crept several octaves higher to explore the abandoned Military outpost with Amber. Movement within an illuminated convenience store established on the intersection flickered in the peripheries of his vision; Grayson drew toward the distinct gas station-- a burned out logo stating '7-Eleven' perched at the corner-- and motioned the last person of the group to accompany him for backup.
Re: Times Square
Cassandra Cage kneeled down, checking the guy for money, but nothing was found. She stood back up, and to steal one more thing, dog food. She looked up at the isle names, and went down the one that said 'Pets'. She looked carefully at each brand, before selecting the brand Iam's. She then stopped, hearing a distant yell, but she ignored it. Cassandra walked down the isle and toward the front, grabbing a bag and putting the stolen items in. She thought this was going to be a successful heist, but as she walked, she widened her eyes, staring at the Mercenary she saw earlier. Cassandra dropped the bag, unstrapping her gun from her back and glaring intently at him as she held it in her hands.

Re: Times Square
Cassandra furrowed her eyebrows, yanking the gun away from his grip and putting the head of the gun onto his chest. "Why not?" she smirked, clearly feeling the bullet-proof vest he had on, she lowered the gun, strapping it back onto her back. "What do you want, anyways?" The young asian girl asked, leaning to her side with her hand placed on her waist.

Re: Times Square
An epitome of unruly tyranny; he locked his scintillating pewter-grey glare onto his comrade, an absinthian flourish of authority blossoming in his dismissive, harsh timbre, "Hunter. Join the others." The Mercenary addressed shifted his cagey brown eyes cautiously, before slithering away from the superior individual to accompany Amber and the others. Grayson transfixed his focus with militant abruptness and shifted his prominent jaw slightly,
"It'll be foolish of you."
"You're within our outermost territory, what are you doing?"
He added, with dry facetiousness, regarding her with almost his imploring, prying gaze.
Re: Times Square
"I'm doing what I want.." Cassandra replied, taking a step back as she clearly did no trust this Mercenary. The Bandit's territory was farther away, and had no stores nearby, which made Cassandra come all this way to get supplies for herself, and her rottweiler pup named Fluffy."I'll leave, once i'm done with this." she smirked wickedly, quickly pulling a knife from her pocket, aiming at his shoulder and bringing the knife down to it.

Re: Times Square
"Not in Merc territory,"
Grayson informed with vague nonchalance, quirking an expressive eyebrow rather sardonically, while observing her hesitation. Unlike the regular patrol group, his lenience was thread-bare; a vehement intolerance for trespassers ingrained in his malignant mindset. Her impish smirk sold her amoral intentions and the foreboding glint of titanium in the tranquil afternoon luminescence activated an instinctual reaction from him. His massive hand shot forward and encompassed the entirety of her lissome wrist within his grasp in a single swift movement, squeezing painfully until she would retire from brandishing the knife. He remained eerily stoical and twisted her appendage much further than the natural extent of human flexibility to evoke agony to punctuate his words, then shoved her backward against the 7-Eleven facade.
"No. You're leaving now."
Re: Times Square
Cassandra widened her eyes, surprised by the change of events. The Mecenary grabbed her wrist, painfully twisting it until she was facing the brick wall of the 7/11 gas station. "Get off me!" She yelled, slowly lifting her right leg up and putting her foot to his manhood, then slowly lifting it up further to kick him off. Cassandra turned around, furrowing her eyebrows a last time before running off towards the Bandit territory, thinking, Damn Merc..she continued on, looking back at the still visible man.

Re: Times Square
Navaya was fixing up one of her favorite knives that had dulled with one of her tools, having no assignment or duties to accomplish at that moment. She looked over as she heard Amber speak to Grayson about there being something that he should see, so she decided to tag along, having nothing better to do. Navaya made sure to have her knife that was newly sharpened, back on the right side of her jeans, held by her belt along with the gun she always had, at the back of her waist band. She followed behind, keeping her eye on things as Grayson gave commands for the others to check things out, she looked around outside of the shops, investigating some things.
This was when she had noticed a female, run from the building where Grayson had previously went into; quickly, Navaya put her hand to where her knife was and went after the female, Navaya had seen a destroyed building where she could catch the girl off guard, she grabbed onto the bandits hair, pulling her back so she couldn't move, her gun pressed against the trespassers head, with pressure to keep her from moving. "Not so fast, I wouldn't try anything if I were you." she said firmly, her Spanish accent flowing with her words.

Re: Times Square
The retaliator's solid calcitrate to his manhood reprieved Grayson's vague intentions, yet when his deadlock authority around her svelte wrist faltered slightly, he gripped tighter to an almost white-knuckled degree. She reprieved herself though luckily when his physicality recoiled instinctively in agony from the low blow. He wouldn't chase her though; there was no thrill for him.
"Fucking hell..."
He snarled and transfixed his straight posture, restraining himself from becoming too violent.

Scintillating pewter orbs glared into the direction the Bandit attempted to abscond toward, but they instantaneously fixated onto the athletic physique of Navaya pursuing her, seemingly out of nowhere. He advanced onto the milieu in a leisurely saunter and grinned spitefully.
"Damn. I forgot to mention Navaya goes hard on motherfuckers,"
he informed with vindictive venom dripping in his Australian timbre. The vicious grasp she claimed on his retaliator brought forth a sarcastically pitiful 'hmmph' to escape his throat,
"Go easy on her, Nay.. She's just a child."
Re: Times Square
Navaya loosened her grip just enough, "hmm... okay.." she responded to Grayson. She looked down at the girl, who had tried to escape just moments before, "what do you want to do with her?" She asked looking at Grayson curiously. She looked tp the bandit once again, before returning her gaze to Grayson. She shifted her weight ever so slightly but kept her balance. Navaya moved the gun from her head, but didn't put the weapon away, with one swift move she would be able to return the gun to the bandits head, if necessary. "Dont move." She says firmly to the young woman.

Re: Times Square
Cassandra Cage thought she was going to escape, but failed. Her hair was violently yanked back by another girl, clearly backup from the other Merc. "Fuck off!"she yelled, feeling something being put to her head. Then she heard something surprising, the male mercenary said to 'go easy' on her. Cassie then felt the object leave her head, but she still had her hair. "Let go!" she yelled once again, elbowing the girl in the stomach. Cassandra gathered her confidence once more, not wanting to be a hostage to them.

Re: Times Square
Navaya grunted, but how she had been trained, kept her from moving her spot despite the discomfort of her stomach as well as the bullet proof vest she had been shielded from the blow from hurting too bad. Navay yanks the girls hair in a swift tug that loosened after pulling the strangers hair, Navaya used her free arm after placing her gun away at the back of her waist band, Navaya twists the bandits arm in a way that shouldn't be twisted, ensuring pain. "Don't test me, im not in the best of moods right now, I don't think you or anyone else here wants to see what will happen if I lose my temper..." Navaya said angrily toward the female, "Let me tell you, it wouldn't end pretty." she snapped, her accent becoming stronger on 'wouldn't' and 'pretty'. loosening her hold on the bandits arm after making her point clear. Returning to going 'easy' on her. Although Navaya kept her focus on the young female that was in the Navaya's grasp, she scanned over the buildings briefly, and their surroundings, analyzing everything before allowing her eyes to finally settle on Grayson, awaiting further instruction.

Re: Times Square
Grayson scrutinized the reduced brutality inflicted onto the youthful girl analytically, however his haunting mercury tinged eyes narrowed slightly in thought. He hadn't verbally acknowledged Nay's inquiry, instead he shifted his imposing silhouette into the visual authority of the captured Bandit and her Mercenary captor, his fervent stare clutching the subdued survivor indicating that in everyone's best interest she be cooperative. He spoke slowly with lingering intonation, while he maintained an aspect of daunting regality.
"I'd like to make an offer... We form an alliance; benefit off each other. Of course, you'd have to be willing to comply with me,"
Re: Times Square
Navaya looked down slightly, before listening to Graysons words to the female, relaxed her nerves, as she released the females hair, simply holding to the one arm yet the grip was still firm, allowing herself to be more gentle on the trespasser. Mainly because she didn't want to get herself killed or kicked out back, and be forced to be on her own as she had been before. She had quite enjoyed being apart of a group and be able to socialize again and not have to entirely fear being alone anymore. Navaya blinked, which snapped her out of her thoughts, once again scanning the area, hearing the faint words of their comrades, she glanced in that direction briefly, watching as they checked out the building that Grayson had told them to check out. Navaya made a soft 'hmm' sound as she returned her sea green eyes to land back on the bandit and her boss, Grayson.

Re: Times Square
"Why should I make an alliance with you? Your first impressions weren't so friendly." Cassandra Cage spoke firmly, yanking her arm away from the female Merc. Cassandra folded her arms in a pouty-like way, staring at both of the Mercenaries. "However, you have to let me and other Bandits roam where we like." she said, awaiting the reply from male Mercenary, who looks to her, is the so called 'leader' of them.

Re: Times Square
He flashed an entertained simper of a grin, his eyes reducing to unwavering mercury slits.
"You're fortunate, darlin'-- I don't show mercy very much,"
he remarked satirically. The Mercenary released a wan, winsome chuckle,
"I'm not inviting the whole Bandit faction because you and I, both, know some groups are to take advantage of my leniency and break the deal altogether."
There was a slightly more frigid edge to his enticing tone now while he added,
"We wouldn't want that now, would we?"
Grayson flicked his iron gawk behind his sunglasses toward Navaya, the slight tilt of his refined chin was the only indicator of his switch of focus. He was pleased the Freedom girl was aware of the consequences if she had not yielded to him.
"Return to the others. I will call you, if needed."
The Mercenary instructed with the gesticulation of his head into the direction of the others, his eyes returning onto the Bandit. A long minute of silence suffocated the berth separating them, but eventually he introduced impishly,
"Grayson Spencer."
Many people knew him by name, his reputation with importing the best apparatus-- weapons, food, medical-- and the negatives which he's feared because of.
"How about that deal, love?"
